My husband and I spent one night at Punta Mita Litibu in a third floor beach view studio with kitchenette and wished we could have stayed much longer. We were in the area for my husband’s company who were putting us up at the Four Seasons for the next six nights.
I have to admit, that we enjoyed this little vacation on Playa Carayeras better than the Four Seasons! The beach is absolutely spectacular and AUTHENTIC (not made for the exclusive use of just a few, as is the case at Punta Mita resort complex). There were very few people on the beach, yet all were friendly from the tourists to the fisherman.
We had a lovely walk along the whole length of the expansive beach. We played in the waves, and we sat by the pool and the garden overlooking the beach. The night we arrived, we purchased food at a large supermarket near PV airport and made a delicious dinner which we ate on our balcony overlooking the sea. It was an incredibly romantic evening/next day. Sergio and his family were so incredibly accommodating to our needs. We were really reluctant to leave our TRUE five star experience for the Four Seasons. We can’t wait to come back again for a long weekend. Thank you, Sergio and family, for helping to make this experience so wonderful. The condo is new, well-appointed and immaculate. Incredible views–you feel like you are right over the water. Lots of beach toys if you like.
Incredibly romantic! Just make sure you get good directions, as the dirt road to the complex is hard to find at night. Also, bring food before you leave PV and remember to bring coffee, too. You will need a taxi or rental if you want to explore other towns, restaurants or areas. There may be a public bus, I didn’t find out. Writing this makes me dream of going back with my husband again. ENJOY!
